Innovative lightweight construction in furniture is an industry trend.

Sponsored by the state ministry for economics, space 009 in hall 4.1 was dedicated to a collaboration between the renowned industrial designer Klaus W. Göcke and the companies Nobilia, Wöstmann, Wiemann and Hettich. The concept was receiving support from the igeL, the lightweight construction association [Interessengemeinschaft Leichtbau e.V.].

In addition to pioneering applications, the presentation also aimed to show design possibilities and sales potential.
