Georg Maushagen - The Confectioner

Georg Maushagen and his wife Brigitte started their own business in 1983. The couple run the “Weekend-Café Maushagen” and the “Manufaktur für Confiserie & Zuckerbäckerei” in Düsseldorf.

Georg Maushagen is the author and publisher of the reference books Faszination in Zucker (The Fascination of Sugar) and Faszination in Marzipan (The Fascination of Marzipan). Since 2004 he has been appearing every Wednesday live in “Süße Sünde” (Sinfully Sweet) on the “Daheim & Unterwegs” (At Home and On the Go) television program broadcast by WDR.

On 21st January 2011, Georg Maushagen was cooking with the WDR-Moderator 'daheim & unterwegs' René Le Riche.
